Saskia has a passion for holistic client centered care. Having begun her career in rural healthcare she developed a strong foundation working in both inpatient and outpatient settings across a broad spectrum of physical and developmental needs. Working in a rural setting allowed her to work closely with individuals and families in diverse settings with ranging needs which had shaped her adaptable approach to therapy. She has a special interest in paediatric rehabilitation and values group therapy. She is also passionate about the role of assistive technology in enabling independence with a growing interest in Wheelchair prescriptions and seating.
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Stellenbosch University
Saskia finds joy in life’s little adventures—whether it’s getting lost in a good book, sketching in a quiet corner, or exploring a coastal trail. She loves the outdoors, especially hiking, rock-pool swimming, or walking by the water. Often found at local markets or coffee shops with a flat white in hand, Saskia is always up for trying something new—most recently surfing (with little success).
