What is Dietetics?

Dietitians are experts in food and nutrition and provide guidance to people who may be affected by health conditions on how they can appropriately manage their diet and nutrition. A dietitian can help people maintain their health and reduce their risk of developing chronic diseases.

Meet our Expert Dietitian

Steph Blackwell –

Steph Blackwell is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who holds a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is passionate about educating her clients and improving their lives, she also understands the value of nutrition in food and wants to share her knowledge with you!

Steph adopts a holistic, patient-centric approach to dietetics and nutrition. She prefers to work one-on-one with her clients, allowing her to dedicate as much time as possible to their individual needs and requirements. Steph has a passion for helping her clients achieve their goals, improving their lives and wellbeing. She accomplishes this by tailoring realistic and sustainable goals for her clients, educating and informing them in dietary and lifestyle matters.

Who can Steph help?

Stephanie has a broad range of expertise and experience in managing a number of conditions including gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, arthritis, chronic kidney disease, celiac disease and osteoporosis. Steph also specialises in providing support for the elderly, the underweight and the overweight.

Some of the specific areas of health that Steph specialises in include:

  • Chronic disease management 
  • Mental health
  • Diverticular disease 
  • Cardiovascular disease

What to expect

Steph is a telehealth practitioner; as such, she works nationwide and conducts her consultations remotely. Steph’s consultations are sixty minutes for new patients and thirty minutes for subsequent appointments, this is to ensure sufficient time for diagnosis and the discussion of relevant health-related factors. 

Steph is available via Telehealth only with all appointments conducted over video call. You will receive your unique Video call meeting link once your appointment is booked.
